I think life repeats without big changes. It’s like a rusted bicycle that is hard to paddle in the beginning but sails smoothly afterward. For some people, riding a bicycle feels like an endless motivation. For others, it feels like an endless gloom. The emotion is important because that determines how the the life feels like as we ride the bicycle. Being overly philosophical is not helpful because that’s simply breathing deep into the emotion provided to you. I wouldn’t think people who are happy can say overly sad things because the sadness doesn’t resonate in their hearts.
If we ride same bicycles with everyone going to the same place but simply with different colors of emotions, can people with brighter colors spread their colors to others with more gray colors? Is happiness transferrable? Will people accept any happiness or cherry-pick the happiness they deem worth paying attention to? Can AI address something this arbitrary and find 10% improvement in life? In that case, I think it is meaningful in endless ways.
